Job Description
Location: LATAM

For this role, you will:

  • be responsible for delivering technical services to our customers, such as configuring, integrating, reporting, troubleshooting, and training on our technology within the Ethernet, IP backhaul and application performance domains. You will display strong consultancy skills, being able to listen to a customer’s challenges and then solve them. The role is based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
  • be expected to operate as a key link between the Professional Services organization conveying critical product and technology information from the field back into the PLM and R&D departments.
  • include focus on capabilities to leverage our network and application monitoring portfolio to translate technical output into positive business impacting outcomes for customers. You will have experience in applying your Carrier Ethernet/IP, Networking background and application assurance skills to new applications in the markets. You will need to grow your knowledge independently and have an enquiring mind when it comes to exploring new product & technology offerings.
  • Need to have proven engineering experience and have demonstrable results delivering services at large telecommunications providers, carriers, or enterprises.
  • Work in conjunction with our project management teams; you will be their key technical advisor to ensure optimum delivery. Expect to travel and have senior level interaction with our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for but not limited to installation, commissioning, integration, system configuration, upgrades and use case creation.
  • You will be a network services engineer within our professional services team.
  • Responsible for building knowledge and sharing within the professional services team but more broadly into the organization too.
  • Become an expert in our portfolio & adapt the portfolio’s use to different customer challenges.
  • Support pre-sales and sales.
  • Daily customer interactions, including delivering presentations as our expert on site to recommend measures for network/application improvements.
  • Write reports, technical answers to questions and manage collection of information from our solutions.
  • Analyze results and present them to the customer, highlighting performance degradation and recommend solutions.
  • Help customers troubleshoot network issues identified by our solutions.
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the technical services delivery process.
  • Train our customers on our solution to enhance their knowledge and usage of our products.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of prior experience working as a Networking Engineer.
  • Must demonstrate solid understanding of the Network Communication & Application Layer Protocols and metrics associated with performance testing, troubleshooting and system operation.
  • Experience in mobile and wireline, transport/backhaul networks is essential.
  • Experience in application performance monitoring
  • Experience with Carrier Ethernet and IP products such as Cisco, Juniper, Ciena or similar is essential.
  • Prior understanding of services delivery is essential.
  • Strong statistical and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to understand, compile, evaluate, and present complex data and solutions.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Python, Go, Rest APIs, and scripting tools is an asset.
  • Knowledge of UNIX administration, VMware, and Docker containers is an asset
  • Passionate and self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and independently.
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree or demonstrable equivalent industry related experience.
  • Possess a strong focus on customer service and be able to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to effectively articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
  • English is mandatory. Written and Verbal.
  • Portuguese Is mandatory. Written and Verbal
  • Spanish. Not mandatory but would be an asset.
  • Must be able to maintain a functional home office and travel
